Glossary

The words TKS and the marketplaces use, in one place. Each tab's page links here rather than explaining them again.

Stock

Unit / Pair
One physical item you hold. A size with 3 units is three pairs on your shelf.
SKU
The style code that identifies a product, e.g. CW2290-111. Every size of a product shares its SKU.
Custom Item
A product the marketplaces' catalogues don't know, which you create yourself with a name, a type and a size range. It lists on eBay until you tick other platforms for it.
Cost
What you paid for one unit. Profit, margin and the floor are all worked out from it, so a missing cost shows as a dash.
Location
Where the pair sits on your shelf, e.g. S2-4. Shown as No Location until you set one.

Selling

Ask / Listing

Your price for a size on a marketplace. On StockX it's called an ask.

Lowest Ask

The cheapest ask on a marketplace for that size. The next buyer usually buys from it.

Highest Bid

The most any buyer has offered for that size.

Floor

The lowest price TKS will ever list a size at. It's set by the size's floor method (below) from its cost and the marketplace's fees. The repricer never goes under it.

Floor Method

How the floor is worked out. The two starting choices are:

  • Standard: cost + 15% margin after fees
  • Breakeven: cost + $5 after fees

The other methods are explained on the Repricing page.

Repricer

The part of TKS that moves your prices to stay the lowest ask, never under the floor. It runs on its own for each connected marketplace.

At Floor / Held

The market is below your floor, so the repricer keeps your price at the floor instead of following it down.

Payout / Net

What the marketplace pays you after its fees.

Gross

The sale price before the marketplace's fees.

StockX

STV (Ship To Verify)
StockX's standard way of selling. You ship the pair to StockX after it sells. Shown as Standard in some places.
Direct
StockX's program for selected sellers. You ship straight to the buyer. Direct asks compete in their own market, separate from STV.
Flex
Pairs you've already sent to StockX's warehouse, ready to ship the moment they sell. They aren't on your shelf, so TKS doesn't count them as stock to delist.

TKS

Preview Mode
A safe mode for new accounts. TKS works out everything it would do but sends nothing to the marketplaces. A bar at the top of every screen says when you're in it.
Vacation Mode
Pauses or parks your listings while you're away. While it's on, the Dashboard shows a banner with a Turn Off button.
Inbox
Sales TKS couldn't match to a pair in your stock, because of a code or size it doesn't know or a possible oversell. They wait in the Sales tab for you to decide.
